Writing is an art but if you want to get paid for it, then you need to think of it as a business. Thanks to the Internet and self-publishing, it’s possible for you to be the writer you always wanted to be, to produce the books and stories you dreamed of bringing into the world, and to even support yourself while you’re doing it.

It isn’t easy. You’ll have to make the right decisions along the way. But if you pay attention to your cash flow, and be willing to learn along the way, you can do it. Make no mistake; it’ll be a struggle. There will be victories and defeats. But you may be surprised at what you’ll achieve along the way.
